In NIS 2010 there is an Addon package which allows to block privacy data to be sent on the internet. For example we can block username, bank account, credit card information... I find this addon very useful and allows me to be sure that no privacy data are sent on the internet without my acceptance.
I recently updated on one of my PC to NIS 2011, but I did not find the "privacy controls" functionality or a addon for this.

I just got a new computer loaded with Norton Internet Security 2011. I had the 2010 version on the old one with the privacy control add-on. I am VERY disappointed that Norton no longer includes this option. I do not want family controls, I have no children. But I felt much safer with those privacy controls knowing they were watching my credit card numbers, social security number, etc. If anyone from Norton reads these posts, PLEASE give us a new add on or download application for the privacy controls again. I will not feel my information is safe on line without it.
