Private Browser installation failed

For the last six months or so, "My Norton" has had the message "Private Browser installation failed" along side a big red X. There seems to be no way to clear it. 

Is there a solution to this? I searched the forum for this but there doesn't seem to be any clear answer to this although plenty of people seem to have this issue..

Any ideas? I don't even want to use the private browser, it's just that it somewhat disconcerting to see that big red X whenever I open up my security app.

I had to refresh my Norton install to clear "Installation failed"
