Problem adding network drives/folders to AutoProtect exclusions

Hello

whenever I want to add an exclusion to AutoProtect which is a network drive or network folder, I choose the drive or folder in the search tree, then click "add", and then I get a message telling me I have entered an invalid path exsclusion, for example "\\HOMECOMPUTER1\folder\". When I remove one backslash it will add it to my exclusions ("\HOMECOMPUTER1\folder\"). Why that?

And - in Scan exclusions - is it correct that I cannot exclude network folders?

 

And what does this "Default all" on the exclusions window mean?

I found the solution in a similar posting: I had to map drives, and so I was able to add the drives instead of the Network folders to the exclusion list!
