I work for a software company that provides software updates over the internet. Recently a number of our customers, using NAV have been unable to download our updates. It appears that the "Download Insight/Intelligence" is seeing the update as a "threat" and blocks the download.
What is the best way to resolve this as an issue for our clients? Is there a way that we can package our download to help facilitate this situation? Is there a procedure that we can follow to get 'certified' or something so our customer can get our updates while still using NAV?
FYI: Not sure that it matters, be we use InstallShield to create the downloads... the link is www.dtidownload/SummitUpdate2011-02.exe
