My Nortons Security Centre shows my computer at risk.  On running the fix programme it checks for updates then indicates that there are no new updates for my computer but it still shows that my computer is at risk. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Could you provide some screenshots ?

A couple of suggestions.

Have you done a full scan of your system.

Do you have any parts of the protection disabled?

What version are you running?

have you run a full scan allready?

Hi Rod,

The first order of business is, as recommended, to run a full scan. I would recommend downloading and installing the latest Intelligent Update package so that your def's are current prior to running the scan.

The actual problem sounds like corruption of one of the LU catalog files, and I believe that this problem can be solved in 2008 products within One Click Support (through AutoFix). You can access this from the Help and Support link in the upper right hand corner of the main UI. If that fails, continue on to the Step-by-Step assistance where you will find a document describing this probelm that has some automation that should correct the problem.

Let us know how it goes.
