I downloaded something (Norton said it was safe?) and immediately started having problems and unwanted popups on my computer. I brought up list of programs on my computer and tried to uninstall several suspect programs that were installed on the same date (including MyPC Backup). I keep getting message "Please wait until the current program is finished uninstalling or being changed." How can I uninstall these programs?
Thanks for your help! Re booting allowed me to uninstall the suspicious programs. Then I took your advice and subscribed to the free version of Malwarebyte and ran a few scans and deleted over 260 pups. Everything seems to be working now so again, thanks!
