I am trying to verify my site www.completeinterviewcoach.com but am having a problem. I am using a site builder and cannot access the root folder. I tried to create a meta tag using the folder name and code but no luck. I see that others have had similar problems that have been resolved but I do not see what action was taken by them for me to do the same thing.
Hi dirk2link,
I'll ask our Website verification expert Phil_D to have a look at your website and check the meta tag. He is currently offline and will get back to you in a few hours - thanks for your patience.
Thanks in advance!
Our site is flagged for a link to another website. The link to this website was deleted a long time ago. Hopefully they will review our website again.
Best regards, Dirk
Hello Dirk and welcome!
I'm glad you're aware of the site rating and have taken steps to correct it. However, when I first went directly to your site, Norton blocked an HTTP CrimePack Toolkit Java Class. So you might want to check into that as it is not constant and may be from one of the revolving ads.
Now to the verification issue.
Your nortonsw HTML has a space at the end of the authentication code causing it to show an extra character and two lines of code, when it should be only one. However, your meta tag appears to be properly formatted and placed in the head element.
I would suggest the following options:
- Remove the space from the end of the HTML authentication code OR
- Remove the nortonsw HTML file and rely on the meta tag for verification.
- Please triple check the spelling of the URL which you submitted to Safe Web. There have been a number of instances where folks had a typo in the URL submitted to Safe Web causing the verification process to fail.
In the mean time, I will notify the Safe Web team of your issue. Please allow them a day or two to respond back to you in this thread.
Thanks!

Thanks,
I'm using Norton Internet Security 2011. I'm trying to find any HTTP CrimePack Toolkit Java Class.
I've reloaded the website a 50 times, i guess.
Is it possible to tell us more?
When it isn't always it must be a banner. I overlooked Openads but can't find nothing suspicious.
Thanks in advance, Dirk
Hi Dirk,
The attack appears to have come from a third party site immediately when I navigated to your main site.
It is not directly from your site. Maybe from an ad server?
Give me a few minutes and I'll send you a Private Message with a screen shot of the pertinent information.
Look for the icon in the upper right corner of any forum page. Give me about 5 minutes.
Hello dirk2link
If you can set Java so that it doesn't keep the temp files, that would help to keep Java clean and also make sure that you are using the latest version of Java and that you have deleted the older versions. Java is usually updated for security reasons. You can set Java by using the Java Control Panel which can be found in your control panel.. Thanks.
