I want to add an anti-virus scan exclusion for Norton 360 Version 5 as recommended by a Malwarebytes FAQ for running both programs on the same machine, : C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys When I try to add it, I get a message, "Path you selected to exclude does not exist". Windows Explorer clearly finds the file. Can anybody explain what is going on here? Thanks.
I have had no known problem letting them run both together I am using 360 v5 and MBAM paid. The information in the MBAM forums sees to indicate lots of people do it without trouble. The two programs seem to be finding different security problems. Is the fact that 360 v5 scan exclusion feature denies that the file in question exists indicate a problem?
Hi rhrisch:
When you perform a Full System Scan...
What does 360 find and MBAM when the MBAM realtime component is enabled?
What does 360 find and MBAM when you disable the realtime component (in MBAM) so that the NIS scan is run first to completion and then the MBAM scan is run to completion?
Please advise.
Thanks,
Atomic_Blast :)
