I purchased a retail copy of Norton 360. I did purchase it back in 12-2023 when I was at a store because it was on sale.
When I try to update my key (subscription expires in a couple of days) I get this notice
“This product has not been activated by the retail store where you purchase it (-1008)”
Then I also get this message “we are in the process of activating this product key. Please try it again later”
What should be my next steps?

Steps to activate or renew using a product key purchased from a store ›
Open your Norton device security product.
If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security , click Open .
Do one of the following:
To activate your subscription, in the Norton product main window, click Activate Now .
To renew your subscription, in the Norton product main window, click Help, and then under Account information , click Enter Product Key .
Enter the product key that you received from the store.
When you are using a new product key to activate, the remaining days with your current subscription do not get added to the subscription associated with the new key.
