I use and older G4, running 10.4.11, and I use Constant Guard from Comcast. I had installed the whole suite of software, but it kept crashing, so I used the Uninstaller and removed everything but Norton AntiVirus, and things work okay.
But, when I run LiveUpdate, the LiveUpdate log shows that the Norton Firewall, and Norton Confidential, are still installed.
I've read on this Forum that I could delete the LiveUpdate log, and the liveupdt.log, which I did; but, again, after I run LiveUpdate, it still looks like the deleted programs are present.
What do I need to do to get LiveUpdate to recognize that those programs have been deleted?
