I'm having the exact same problem as discussed in this thread... however, the solution is not working for me. I even just spent an hour chatting with Norton tech support, to no avail... their best answer is to turn off sonar when I use the program and turn it back on when I'm done, which sounds a bit ridiculous.
The line "Have you added the file to both auto-protect and scan exclusions in the Norton settings"... I have added it to scan exclusions, but I can't find any auto-protect exclusions. Does anyone know how to do that?
If it matters, I'm running Windows 7x64 and NIS 2010...
