Problem with Norton 360 blocking sending email with error message

When I uninstalled  Outlook 2013 cloud I started having problems with Outlook 2007 (I was just not impressed with 2013).  I started receiving much fewer emails (I had to start a gmail account to get some people to send the emails there)  I could not send emails from Outlook 2007, which was my primary before I got Outlook 2013 cloud.  When I tried to send emails I would get the error code 554 5.7.1 from Norton.  No one I talked with can figure it out.  I even talked to a tech site in India with no result (they went online on my computer, and spend around an hour without any results - 7/24 techies).  I know everything went south when I uninstalled 360 (I was given another way to uninstall Outlook 2013 from Microsoft( which I did not follow).  Anybody have any idea of what the problem is?  I called my email manager site.  They see nothing that has changed on their side.  I uninstalled Norton 360, then reinstalled it.  No change.

Thanks for your time.

Tom

Hi psychtester,

SMTP error codes like this are returned from the server and displayed by Norton - Norton is only the messenger.  This error code most likely means that your recipient's email servers are rejecting messages from your address.  Is this happening with all messages you send, or only those addressed to certain recipients?  Your best bet would be to contact your email service provider about this.

Is there a reason you did not follow that other suggestion for removing Outlook 2013? It sounds like you may need to make sure all remnants of your Outlook 2013 are removed. Then reinstall Outlook 2007 and set up your accounts again.

Your switching between Outlook versions may have messed up your account settings.
