Problem with Norton Security Suite

Hello every one. I am new to this forum but have a question

I have Norton Security Suite that I get from Comcast I have it installed on Windows 8.1 64 bit system

The problem I am having is every now and than I will see two copies of Norton in my system tray and when I check the Task Manager It shows two copies running.

I have no idea as to why this happens and the only way around it so far is to restart my system.

I tried the end task option and nothing happened.

So I worry about this or is tis some kind of minor glitch.

I have been using Norton Security Suite that I get from Comcast, My ISP with Windows XP Pro.

The other day it quit working all of a sudden. I reinstalled it (several times) after uninstalling it.

It continues to require me to activate it each time the computer is booted. Other than that it works as expected.

I can't figure out how to fix this issue and don't find much about it searching the internet.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
