Please manually run live-update and it should synchronise your subscription with the server. :-)

If that doesn't work, give Norton Support a call and let them know that live update isn't synching your subscription, and they'll verify that your subscription update went though. :-)

No problemo; easy fix  :D

I have just subscribed to Norton anti virus for the Mac 11 (2009) a few weeks ago.  Not ony do I continue to get the messages to subscribe to Norton anti virus still but every time I open Norton Anti Virus it quits unexpectedly over and over.  Help.  I need to use it!

Hi baker4,

When you subscribed to NAV you should have gotten an email confirming this.  This email should contain a subscription code.  The next time the message comes up asking you to subscribe, find the button that says that you already have a subscription code.  Then follow the windows until you can enter the code.

This is the same issue I am having.  But all that is in the email is my order number.  There is no subscription code.

Yes.  I have now gone back to the email and the same problem.  Only an order number and no key number.  I tried entering the order number.  That didn’t work.  I have now emailed them back with a copy of the receipt asking for a fix or a refund.

Dear Elliot,

Thanks for response but thre is no subscription number on the emailed receipt.  Only an order number.

Hi baker4,

I would try emailing Symantec tech support or customer support.  Here's a link to online chat support:

Hello Sake3838

Welcome to the Norton Community Forum

Is your program for 3 computers? If your old computer is bootable, you can uninstall the program from the old computer. That should give you a activation to use. If you continue to have problems with the activation, you can contact customer support for free via this link. Just tell them the name of the product and have your key handy. They should be able to help you with that.

This is the link for US/Can. If you need a different location, please consult your local Symantec site for the local free chat customer support link.

Please come back and let us know how you made out. Thanks.

Nothing to worry about this. You just need to contact the Customer service team and provide them your Product Key. They will be able to resolve this for you. Read the following Knowledge Base article:

Error: "You have exceeded the allowable number of installs" when I activate my Norton 2010 product
