Running Windows 7 RTM x64
I have an active subscription to Norton 360 v3
I decided to install 360 to try and get the new Windows 7 patch
Prior to installation I
- Removed all references to Norton and Symantec from Program Data
- Made sure that there were no references to Norton in Program files & program Files(86)
- Ran the Norton removal tool
After installation 360 will not activate and comes back with a message "Activation not complete, cannot contact the Symantec server"
This is pretty well the same problem I had on NIS betas and the previous 360 Betas. I have tried everything. Now I have 360 with more than 200 days left on it and it appears that I cannot use it. Where do I go from here?
