Problems in Norton 360 connected to System exe programs

Hi,

I updated to Norton 360 a couple of months ago and have had continuing problems that seem to be conflicts first with Malwarebytes now it seems to be with my system functions. I solved (I think) the Malwarebytes problem by disabling real-time internet monitoring, not I'm experiencing constant screen flicker and everyday I get these Medium security alerts. One shows the Actor: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32|TASKMGR.EXE; Actor PIE 1916, Target: C:\Program Files\Norton 360|Engine\21.7.0.11\symerr.exe, Target PID 4664, Action: Open Process Token, Reaction: Unauthorized access blocked, Terminal Session: 1. The Status is the access is Blocked and Recommended Action: No Action Required.

The other notice is: Actor: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SVCHOST.EXE, Actor PID 692, Target: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_BHDRVX8\0000\Control\, Action: Set Registry Security Key, Reaction: Unauthorized access blocked. Status: Blocked, Recommended Action: No Action Required

These notices happen everyday, several times a day and I cannot figure out where there's any conflict. I've run virus scans, Malwarebyte scans. I'm stumped. My computer blue screened twice before I disabled Malwarbytes real-time internet scan, but now I'm experiencing constant screen flicker.

But I'm wondering if it has anything to do with Flash. When I open new internet pages Flash eats memory like jellybeans, so I always choose Stop Process Tree and crash Flash since it interferes with anything else I'm using on my computer (music stutters). Finally I just set Flash to not load unless I let it.

I don't think this is a virus, and all this started after I loaded up Norton 360. There seems to be some file conflicts I can't uncover, but it's making me nuts.

Any advice, insight would be appreciated.

Snoopy
