Problems Initiating Norton 360 Premier Edition

Hi,

 

I recently bought Norton 360 Premier Edition after my subscription expired. I loaded it to install Norton 360 and everything was going okay until it got to a screen where it said: Initiating Norton 360 Premier Edition Please Wait...

I had many other thing running at the time which is probably part of the problem. Now I removed all unnessasary processes and Norton still took a long time to install. Its been going on for 5 hours and it is still at that screen.

It would be nice to have a bit of help on it. Thanks.

While Sheen has the correct idea to start with - here is an updated version of the same Knowledge Base Article complete with video to assist you.  Also please note the additional information at the bottom in regards to "What if the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool fails?"  This info also applies if the tool does not correct your problem.
