I am running windows 7 with Norton 360 premium. I am having problems with my router and have previously been able to log onto 192.168.2.1 but today for some reason keeps coming up with problem loading page etc check firewall and proxy settings. Have no idea why this page will no longer load and have never had problems before. I am also not very techno savvy as I am in the older generation. Thanks in anticipation.
Hi, Buddie,
Welcome to our community! Let's see what we can figure out....
What is at 192.168.2.1? Your router? Another computer or device on your network? If it's your router, that's an odd local IP for it (did you set it to that yourself?): the typical defaults are either 192.168.10.1 or 192.168.1.1 so that's the first thing that gets my attention. If you're having trouble logging in to your router, then most likely it's your router firewall or other configuration that's causing the trouble, and the easiest fix may just be for you to do a factory reset of your router. Don't do this yet, though. First, try disconnecting the power cord from your router, count to 10, and plug it back in again; this will reboot the router. Does this fix the issue?
If not...or if it's another device on your network that you can't log into, then we can check Norton's firewall. Pull up the main Norton screen by double-clicking the little icon in your system tray at the bottom of the screen, and select "Settings." Select "My Network" from the left-hand column of the screen that appears, then click "Configure" on the line for "Trust Control." Find the device that you're trying to log into (including if that's your router), and make sure it's set for at least "Shared" (if that doesn't work, try "Full Trust"; for the router only, you may want to set it back after you're done with whatever you need to log in for).
See if that fixes the problem. If not, then try the factory reset on the router.

OMG thanks so much. Can't believe it was as easy as disconnecting the power cord. I can now sign into Belkin site using 192.168.2.1. I have wasted a whole day trying to get advise from everyone from Belkin to Norton and also Microsoft site.
