Problems scheduling a full system scan in Norton Security Suite from Comcast

I was given the following instructions by Norton to schedule a daily full system scan in Norton Security Suite (Version 4.3.0.5) from Comcast for my Windows 7 operating system:

Steps to schedule the full system scan:

  1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click System and Maintenance or System and Security.
  3. Click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Task Scheduler.
    1. If you are prompted for Administrator permission, type the password or provide confirmation.
  4. On the Action menu, click Create Task.
  5. On the General tab, type a name for the task and an optional description.
  6. On the Triggers tab, click New.
  7. Set the task schedule and time, and then click OK.
  8. On the Actions tab, click New.
  9. Type the following in the Program/script box:
    1. "C:\Program Files\Norton Product\Engine\4.x.x.x\navw32.exe"
    2. where Norton Product is the name of your Norton product and 4.x.x.x is the latest version.
  10. Type the following in the Add arguments(optional) box:
    1. /L
  11. Click OK.

12. In the Create Task Window, click OK.

However, the scan does not run and my follow-up contacts with Norton have not been helpful.Norton says the above is the only way to schedule a daily full system scam and that it can't be done from the Norton task scheduling box.

At this point, I’ve simply checked all the tasks in the Norton task scheduling and have a set scheduling  to “Automatic.” Can anyone tell me what will run in this configuration and the frequency that it will run when the task scheduling is set to automatic. Also, does anyone know how to schedule a full system scan to run daily?. Thank you.
