Problems upgrading on Windows 7

I'm having problems upgrading the safety minder software on my daughter's laptop which is running on Windows 7. I downloaded the upgrade and once it unistalls the old version and restarts the computer it starts installing the new version but once it gets to the window where it says starting service the window disappears and I never get to sign in to my account and set it up on the computer. So now the software is not running on my daughters computer although it shows that it was installed but I don't see the icon on the taskbar. I didn't have any problems installing on the other laptop which is running on Windows Vista. I already tried installing and reinstalling a couple of time but I always get the same response.

Hi jmoya43,

I just sent you a PM. You could access the message by clicking on the icon_notes_mail.gif icon in the upper right hand corner of the page.

Thanks,

Have you tried restarting your machine after installing the new version? Meaning. after you install. even though there doesn't appear to be an icon in the system tray, have you rebooted to see if the service will restart?
