Anyone know if there is a problem with Norton Security and Dell Inspiron 15-5000?
I have a new Inspiron and it keeps freezing up. Only way out is a hard restart.
The Win10-Home-64bit has gone through a soft refresh. But then it continued to freeze. Dell asked that it be returned to their service depot. They did a clean reinstall of the OS. Laptop returned yesterday. Installed MS Office 2013. Then installed Norton Security. Shortly thereafter it froze. Did the hard restart. Froze again.
Before I call Dell back I wanted to see if there were any known issues with this motherboard, etc. We have done a bios and firmware update. We have done the OS updates.
It is a new laptop: 6th Gen i5, 12 GB RAM, 1 TB HD, Integrated Graphics, Touch Screen
