I recently updated from NIS 2012 to 2013 v20.3.0.36. Since then I have had big problems. My broadband connection will only open intermittently and when I go to restart I get the ccSvcHst.exe End Program box, then Program not responding and I have to click End now to restart. Sometimes (about four times out of ten) I can open the broadband connection, and when the connection works shutdown is normal. Every time when it won't open I get ccSvcHst.exe hanging at shutdown. Other programs seem to be working normally including Outlook Express.
I want to uninstall and re-install but what is the best way of doing this, Add/Remove or NRT (or both)?
If a re-install doesn't help how can I get back to NIS 2012, I don't have the Product Key for that version? Will the Key for NIS 2013 work?
OS is XP SP3
Hope someone can help, I'm at my wit's end and wasted a lot of time on this.
