Product Key Problem

I just bought a new computer and went from xp to windows7. I installed norton which I had just purchased a 2 yr term on the internet. I just had to uninstall norton due to the fact that it was freezing and not running live update. After reinstalling it, it is now telling me that I only have a 15 day trial with norton or I can add my product key from a recent order. I signed into my account and added the key number and it is telling me that it is invalid. My product doesnt expire until 2011. What can I do to fix this? TIA

Hi candlecrazyinwv,

Try following Wikipedian's instructions to type in your product key (depending on your version of NIS):

http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=nis_feedback&message.id=89197#M89197 (renewing NIS 2010)

http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=nis_feedback&message.id=89199#M89199 (renewing NIS 2009)

If this doesn't work, please contact Symantec Customer Support as delphinium has suggested above. You can chat with them for free.
