Product Maintenance running in excess 6-8 minutes

Hi all,

 

For the first time starting today, the product maintenance in my NIS has been running for 6-8 minutes when it runs. Usually the product and other maintenance items in Norton Tasks only run for about 1-2 seconds with no impact on the system. This seems very odd. I haven't made any changes to my system that I'm aware of to trigger this.

 

As an added note, I just checked this feature while writing this and it seems to be back to normal running for the usual 1-2 seconds. That being said, I would like to know what could have happened, because earlier today when it was running for 6-8 minutes, the system would lock up. Not being able to navigate from one email to the next, not being able to go from one board to the next here at the community, etc. As soon as the product maintenance was done running, everything was back to normal.

 

Everything seems ok now :smileyhappy:, but I am curious as to future events like this.
