Product shows "At Risk" but will not give me a way to fix it.

The product indicates that the computer is "At Risk", but when the elusive "Fix Now" button does show up, it indicates an error (3039 and 65550).  Trying to get information about these errors brings me to a page that suggests most problems are solved by updating to the latest version.  When I try to do that, one of two things happen:

1.  I click on the "Update Now" and it downloads an app to determine the version and any updates.  The program starts to run and indicates that it is searching for updates and then it closes without doing anything.

2.  I try to download the latest version and I get a message saying that I am not eligible for an update because I don't have a paid subscription (except that I do have a paid subscription).
