Keeps wanting to scan a program every time I start it up. Just started doing this. I have used this program for years. Tried adding an app permission, but it keeps doing it!

What app is Norton trying to scan?

FYI. Norton scans every file as you try to access/open/use a file or app.

Maybe there is some pending update or something that needs you to restart your computer to complete. Be sure you use the Restart command, not the Shutdown and startup again.

I had restarted my computer multiple times. The program it was messing with is FIleCenter. I have used it for several years now, without this issue. They periodically have updates to it and there was one not too long ago. I was also having another issue with it. I have uninstalled it and gone back to the previous version. I am now not having issues with it or Norton. I have no idea what they did.

So, for now my issue has been resolved. Thanks again for responding.
