prompt for activitation continues to appear, even after product has been activated

Every day for the last week, my Internet Security has been disabled each morning, and I have been prompted to activate my product.  The problem is, I have had the product for several years, and it has been activated.  Once I click on 'activate now', it goes through the entire process, and tells me activation is successful; yet, it continues to prompt me daily to activate.  What is the problem, and, better yet, what is the solution?  I  don't like the thought of having  my computer unprotected during the night when I am sleeping.

 

I am using Windows XP, Internet Explorer 6 with Service Pack 3, and AOL 9.1.  Is anyone else going through this?
