Protection from ScreenConnect, Splashboard Streamer, and the like

Issue abstract: Why doesn’t Norton 360 warn me when screen-and-keyboard trackers such as ScreenConnect and Splashboard Streamer are installed on my system by strangers?

Detailed description: I found both the abovementioned programs installed on my system. I had no idea that they were installed and I do not know how long they had been installed. Why doesn’t Norton 360 warn me about such intruders. When installed by strangers they are the equivalent of malware.

@wdgaither Have you recently had any remote sessions for work, play and/or Norton support for issues you needed resolved? Those are the most common ways one of these would appear as LogMein is used by companies to remote connections. Being logged into a computer under admin credentials will give files that are downloaded your permissions across the system as well. More info about how these are used to spread malware is here for review as well:
