Protection Report

Two Windows 11 PCs and two Samsung Galaxy S22 Phones

For a very long time now I have received no protection report for my devices. When I log into my Norton account online I see the following message:

“None of your protected PCs or mobile devices are collecting data. Make sure all your devices are connected to the internet and have Norton protection installed so they can collect data for your Protection Report.”

Of course all my devices are connected to the internet and all have Norton 360 installed and running with no problems.

Does anyone have the same problem or any insight into how to fix this bug?

@xjoex Just asking the obvious to make sure its already done. Is remote management enabled in the Norton settings for the PC’s? On my PC’s the report appears to now be under Alerts in the main UI.

Edited: The protection report is still showing my side on my Galaxy Z-Flip 5 with Android 16 / UI 8.5

SA

I just checked my Samsung A15 with Android 16 and I see the same Protection Report on the main page for Norton 360.

Remote management is on on both PCs running Windows 11. I receive the alert saying my protection report is ready in the UI but when I open the report it just says gathering data till the cows come home.

On my Android 16 phones I receive the protection report as the above example shows. But when I login to my Norton Account online and click on protection report it says all my devices are not connected to the internet.

Something wacky is occurring. I have completely removed and reinstalled the UI on the PCs and also the same for the phones. After reinstalling the same error message returns.

I honestly do not care much about the protection report as it really does not matter much to me but I do care that this is a bug that I am sure others must be experiencing. I see the protection report as more of another tool for Norton marketing.

Thanks for the responses.

fwiw ~ my understanding:
Norton released a backend fix for the Protection Report is stuck in ‘gathering data’ forever issue.
Please check if you’re still facing this issue.
