Not really an urgent issue…

When I do LiveUpdate, it says it installed Norton 2010 Pulse Updates or Norton 2010 Virus Definitions. Is this a little bug since it is 2011, after all?

Welcome to the Norton forum.

 

The year depends on when the product was released.

 

N360 v4 was released in 2010. Hence you see 2010 in the virus definitions.

 

For N360 v5, which is going to be released shortly (as per other forum reports), i expect to see Norton 2011 Virus definitions.

Yes what  N_sb_combatant says is correct. Though it says Norton 2010 Virus Defs, they will be the latest ones.


With N360v5 released Beta Build you will see it as Norton 2011 Virus definitions.
