Pulse Updates Not Working Again

The pulse updates seem to be "inoperative" again (happened several times in the past). Even if hours go by, clicking on "Run Live Update" results in "No Updates Found". In the past this went on for hours, and in one instance days, before it was rectified.

 

FYI, I'm using NIS 2010 (17.7.0.12) on 2 computers (one desktop, one laptop). Same behavior on both.

 

In the past, apparently, the Norton servers had some problems related to timekeeping (I seem to remember).

 

Has anyone checked to see if it's happening now?
