I just bought a Norton 360 subscription for my college-student daughter's new laptop. I opened the account in her name, because I want her to get the announcements and get in the habit of maintaining her own computer. I made the purchase, however, in my name because I have a credit card and she doesn't.
Could this be why, when I tried to download the updates, the system told me I was "not eligible"? What do I do about it?

Are you trying to upgrade your current Norton 360 program ? OR Are you trying to download updates through LiveUpdate?
If you could post a screenshot of the message you get, it will be much helpfull. All the users with current subscription of Norton 360 (active subscription for the Product Key) are eligible and can upgrade to latest version.
