Qt5quick.dll not found

Got  a new ASUS Vivobook notebook, installed 1 of my norton licences on it, then decided to upgrade to Norton360 for a free 1 year time, then got a 2nd Vivobook and installed 1 of my norton licences on it.

All seemed to be ok for a couple of days till my 2nd Vivo decided to update it's BIOS version and I realized no two Vivobooks are identical. When it rebooted I got a Norton360 load error, "Norton Secure VPN.exe - System Error, The code execution cannot proceed because Qt5quick.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

Rebooting several times, turnoff, back on, did not get rid of the problem.

Clicking OK 3-4 times and I was able to carry on to use the computer. I reinstalled Norton360 licence, rebooted the computer and got a different message "Qt5Widgets.dll cannot be found"

Now I am questioning upgrading to Norton360, I never needed VPN before. Norton was protecting me very well without it. And, I have no idea how much more it's going to cost when the free 1 year runs out.

If I keep Norton360 is there a way to fix the above described problem ? Is there a way to cancel Norton360 and go back to regular Norton ?

Windows 10 Home, latest version of Norton360

Hello Steve. Download the removal tool for Norton, run a REMOVE ONLY and reboot. You can then log into your Norton account and reinstall the package of choice when you are done.
