Question about Password Manager

When I open Password manager, its own password is automatically entered. What do I need to do to prevent this?. As it is now, anyone who might gain control over my PC will have access to everything in the vault..

Did you try Lock vault → Sign Out → cycle browser → Sign In → Unlock…test?
Did you clear browser cache n cookies?

Do you run browser native password manager?
Do you run Continue running background extensions and apps when browser is closed?
Do you run Passwordless vault unlock?

Windows. Firefox. PW version 8.2.2.259. Re these other questions, I’ll have to get family tech support since I’m mostly worthless with computer stuff. But my granddaughter is pretty savvy. I’ll have her come over next week..

Yes. As soon as I click on the PW icon, the login screen appears with the password already filled in.
