I decided it was time to update my NIS2009 to the 2010 version. I took a look at “Tim’s” floating thread entitled “Norton Internet Security 2010 and Norton AntiVirus 2010 have been released!” In it he has a link to the Norton Update Center. If you follow the link it would lead you to believe that NIS2010 will be automatically downloaded and then installed. 
Has anyone successfully used this method?
I took a look at several other postings and most seem to say to download NIS2010 and the Norton Removal tool; remove NIS2009 then do the 2010 install and everything will be fine including the existing license. Is that the preferred method?
I have Norton Ghost 14; will the Norton Removal tool also remove that application as well?
