Hey guys. I was just wondering if the auto disk optimization feature of norton auto detects when a drive is a SSD. Correct me if I'm wrong but its not only pointless to defrag a SSD but it puts un needed wear and tear on it with all the read/write cycles. Will norton automatically not defrag a drive if its a SSD.
I know Windows 10 built in defrag tool detects SSD's and wont defrag them but "trims" them.
