Quick scan fails to complete

Yesterday the Norton new interface was automatically installed (22.5.2.15) and today I have noticed that no Quick Scan has taken place.

Background Tasks states "Failed to Complete", and it showed a date and time of yesterday sometime.  I clicked the play button and it immediatley showed "Failed to Complete" with the current date and time showing. 

What's gone wrong? It was OK before the update.
