Quick Scan times in v6

Is there a safe way to improve Quick Scan times in v6?  The quick scan times seem to take much longer in v6 versus v5.

That is a good observation.  The Quick Scans in 360v6 are more thorough than in previous versions, including a scan for rootkits. Therefore you will find that they do take a bit longer.

 

Since they were designed to be very thorough, there is really no way to improve the scan time.  However, there is an upside to this.

 

Because the Quick Scans provide such a better level of daily scanning than in previous versions, you will note that the automatic Idle Full System Scan is now set by default to every 30 days instead of the previous setting of every 7 days.
