Quick start-up issue seem to resolve in NS beta.

As soon as I installed NS, I went to enabling the quick start-up options (Windows 8.1) and shut down my laptop.

 

In the next few shut down/start-up of my laptop, Norton on-demand scan such as "quick-scan" & right-click to scan removable drive seem to be working correctly. 

 

I will keep you guys posted shall the on-demand scan failed in any circumstance.
