RAM usage in NIS 2010?

Hi:

I just upgraded to NIS 2010, and so far, so good. My only concern / question involves RAM usage. Before I upgraded, I'd boot my PC and after everything got up and running, my CPU / RAM meter would be at 26 percent RAM, where it would stay at idle. Now, however, after everything boots and my PC enters idle mode, the RAM usage is at 32 - 34 percent RAM. I was under the impression that NIS 2010 left a 'smaller footprint' - so I'm just wondering why the RAM usage is higher? Is there any way to bring this down again?

Thanks in advance!
