Question: What is the version number of the new Feb 14th release?
I ask this because when I go to the Download Norton Family link at the bottom of the Norton Family page after you log in, I get version 52.
But I've seen that some PC's are running version 56. I presume this is after it asked to update itself.
So... what is the latest released version right now? And why isn't it available from the download link above?
And the $64,000 question is this:
Symantec has an update mechanism that's been in place for many, many years.
It's called LiveUpdate. As in "Automatic LiveUpdate". You may have heard about it.
Why doesn't Norton Family use it?????
Do you really think that a kid who's just been blocked from going to a site is going to answer Yes to a question that pops up about wanting to update Norton Family?
Give me a break....
