Hi :-) From what I have read, FF 41, in addition to breaking many current FF extensions, adds some new features and speed improvements I have no burning desire for. So on that part of the upgrade I am not heartbroken over the Norton Toolbar Issue and staying with FF 40.
Does anyone know if FF 41 also includes any major vulnerability fixes and/or security improvements?
[I was lucky. My FF options page was set to update automatically but it hadn't yet. I usually have it set to "check for but don't install." There is a click-on "Upgrade to FF 41" in the Help>About Tab. :-) I was totally unaware of FF 41 and the Norton Toolbar Issue until tonight. It is an unfortunate situation.It is my understanding that info about the FF XPCOM change was available several months ago.]
