I have a three license copy of NIS 2013 currently installed on a Laptop and a Notebook both of which are now running Version 20.3.0.36.
My third license was previously installed on my PC (Windows XP SP3) but, as I reported in another post some days ago, ceased to update and refused to uninstall/reinstall. I have run the NRT several times and tried to reinstall it several times and still it fails to work. I even deleted this PC from my list in Norton management which now shows two licenses used and one free to use yet still I cannot install this product on the PC. For some reason it always shows up as an expired product and that there are no updates available and I should purchase a new key code.
It would seem that, despite running NRT several times over the past week or so, there are files on the system that think I have an older version of NIS on the PC. Is there something I should do with my Norton Management programme or a rogue file I should delete that might be causing this problem?
