Re: Over the top upgrade to NIS 2013 v. 20.4.0.40 & custom firewall rules

I am currently running NIS 2012 - v. 19.9.1.14, and am considering moving to NIS 2013 v. 20.4.0.40 as most of the earlier issues seem to have been addressed. I’ve been holding off on moving to the latest (2013) build due to concerns about 1) losing my local Identity Safe, 2) the “Malwarebyte’s compatibily issue”, and 3) losing all of my custom firewall rules. I understand that the current preferred update method is to do an “over the top” install of the latest version, which will allow me to retain my local Identity Safe. From what I’ve read here, it also seems that the “Malwarebyte’s compatibily issue” has apparently been addressed. My main concern is losing all of my NIS 2012 custom firewall rules . I do run a routine image of my boot drive so I guess & could just upgrade to 2013 & see what happens. My primary question is, will an “over the top” install of 20.4.0.40 also allow me to have all of my my custom firewall rules migrated to the latest version, or would I still need to manually recreate all of those rules? Thanks -
