Hi jeffw3030, I don’t quite understand your question. Could you explain your situation? Thanks!
I guess he’s affraid he has to pay for the Symantec support…
thats right--didnt want to pay $99 when thats what supposedly i was paying my symantec antivirus annual subscription payment for. nevertheless i did the $99 chat session yesterday and they cleaned out the DWH infections for 2 hours. then turned on computer and the trojan horse is still there!!!! doing another chat session today........
Jeff
tony: any ideas on how to get rid of the DWH trojan horse? My $99 chat session with symantec yeaterda for 2 hours didnt get rid of the thing.....
jeff
What are the symptoms of this Trojan? Except for the NIS report of its presence, is there anything in your computer's behavior that makes you think your computer is infected?
I ask because someone named Hannah is having very similar problems to yours in terms of ridding her computer of a virus that only Norton sees.
thanks all--but i bit the dang bullet and paid the $99............ After the 2d attempt, they seem to have gotten all of the trojan horse out but they messed up my Outlook profile, so had to pay an IT guy to fix it..................
