The Next Hotbed of Cybercrime Activity is... Canada?!?
eh?
We've always been number 2.
I make it a point to forward all phishing, and scam emails to whatever abuse@ hosting site seems appropriate. A few years back, I used some sort of tracking software to narrow down the site of origin and then turned the buggers in to whoever I could find to complain to about it.
Frauds and scams:

And on and on. There is an infinite number of ways and means to make their lives miserable. It is successful to some extent. For quite a long time, I never received fraud or phishing emails. Complain to your ISP, complain to thei ISP if you can find it, report the domain host on the internet registration sites like Arin, or RIPE.
Don't get mad, get even!!! It's actually fun.
I got a phone call from a woman who was obviously foreign. Suspect the call came from India. She insisted I was vulnerable to a virus or something and wanted access to my computer. Said she would "walk me through it". I told her no. She was very insistent. I finally said I definitely wasn't going to do as she asked and not to phone back and hung up. Did I do right?

Last night was a busy night. I got another phone call from somebody insisting that they were a certified Microsoft partner (yeah, right!) and two paypal scam notices that my account needs to be reset.(also yeah, right!). Hang up on one and send the other two to spoof@paypal.com.
I am hitting the heights of scam popularity lately. I received a fax from a Nigerian bank president today, with a problem of what to do with $47M and tonight I got a phone call from the Philippines, where apparently, the air waves are sending information on infections on my computer. This time I got a telephone number, and sent a letter of complaint to the head office, Public Relations, Smart Communications.
"Dear Sirs:
I am contacting you with regard to a phone call I received recently, purportedly from a PC Technical firm, advising me that I had malicious programs on my computer. This is a scam that is possibly being accomplished through your network.
The phone number that I obtained from my caller ID is as follows:
999-910-0152. This may possibly be a phone number in your area. Please check this number and advise them that I have already provided this number to our police detachment where I live in Canada.
Yours most sincerely"
I will be interested to see if I get an answer.
