Re: Slow Windows

First, this is only partially on topic.

I received my computer with a trail version or Norton on it.  My computer ran horribly slow with it, and so did a few others' I know.  I believe it was the security suite, but it may have just been the Antivirus.

I finally uninstall it to have my computer finally blazing fast again.

Yet I still keep getting emails.  No unsubscribe button.  No unsubscribe on the website.  Of all things, I should have to put up with spam from a security company!  Ok, so I'm obviously peeved, but what makes me so is that it's exceedingly difficult to communicate at all with Norton.

I tried to email, but I had to have a security code, or product number.  It was a trial, and if I had one, I sure didn't know it.  So I resorted to waiting for a chat.  I finally got a chat started, and due to his lack of English fluency, he had to clarify everything I said, and I'm still not sure if he unsubscribed me.  I've literally had better experiences chatting with someone of another language and relying only on google translate.  Anyway, I've had a very, very bad experience on multiple levels.  Unfortunately, I help out others with their computers, and I can no longer recommend your product.

Not that you have the ability/access/power to, but if something were to be improved, make it easier to contact customer service.  Phones aren't great for everyone, the language barrier over chat was pitiful, and potential/trials customers don't have product numbers (nor do I want to give out my phone number, you really don't need it).

I've been reading about user friendliness lately, and how numerous e-commerce websites bolstered there sales by some outrageous amount just by not forcing the customer to register.  It's the little things that matter, and with such stiff competition, it doesn't take much to turn potential customers away.

- I'm not terribly motivated to look up the sources, but the numbers are there.
