How about having an option on the Browser/Windows file cleanup feature to select when/how often/what conditions the file cleanup feature is run?

For example, it could be run immediately on closing the browser, or on the opening of the browser, or at shutdown, startup, etc. This would allow file cleanup to be run when the user requires it fto be run to suit specific/required privacy needs, and not when N360 feels like doing it!!

A long-sought requirement from me

Hi,

What is different about your request that is not now a part of the tools in IE? Or, are you asking for it so that it can work in other browsers? I think you need to flesh out your request with addidtional details and then post in the the other forum as

recommended.

My two preferred automated times to cleanup files for both Internet Explorer and Windows 7 is (1) every time IE closes, and (2) during Windows shutdown. I was not aware that such automated file cleanup, at my choice of event/time/etc could be currently achieved in a hands-off, fully automated manner in Win 7. I'd be most grateful if you could advise me on how to do this.

Overall, I would be very happy if the current (manual) file cleanup functionality within N360 could be fully automated within either the Win 7 /  IE world or within N360. I wouldn't mind either way. (Currently, N360 does the file cleanups I require, but is missing the options for me to select the events/times when this is mandatorily and automatically done, and which I seek, which is the subject of the suggestion.)

(Apologies to everyone for placing this suggestion in the incorrect forum. Thanks to Senthil for the advice.)
