I'm having a bit of trouble with my computer and I'm wondering if anyone can help me out on this issue. Essentially my anti-virus subscription ran out a while ago and I forgot to renew it. Got a virus on my computer and then got the 2011 Norton to deal with it. I was able to load Nortons and get it to scan but for some reason now my desktop is all that comes up when I turn the computer on. The icons and the taskbar at the bottom are gone. I can get programs to run by getting the task manager up but I'm a bit clueless as to what happened and if there is still some sort of issue with my comp. I'm running Windows XP for my OS.
