while investigating a possible correlation between DEP and NIS 2010, i was asked by PapauZ to reproduce the DEP crashes amidst disabling the individual components of NIS 2010.
the "problem" that arose was the temporary 15 minutes never came to pass. in other words, the setting remained as i set it well past the 15 minutes and for one, safe surfing, hours later as i couldn't trigger a program crash. this happened for many of the individual components on the main screen as i progressed through them while reproducing the DEP crashes. since a few program crashes came quickly, a few of the components were not"tested" beyond the 15 minutes temporary setting.
the only component that "blinked" was the antivirus which paired off with sonar when disabled. a minute later, they were enabled on their own. when disabled again for further testing, they remained disabled despite the 15 minute temporary setting.
